Biography
Mike Lindsay is a British producer, sound engineer and solo artist, known as a co-founding member of the band Tunng since 2003. In addition to this activity, he has collaborated as a producer with a wide range of artists, including Speech Debelle on the Mercury Music Prize-winning album Speech Therapy, Jon Hopkins, Elizabeth Fraser, Guy Garvey, DuBlonde, Tinariwen, Songhoy Blues, Low Roar, Serafina Steer, Hannah Peel, Dana Gavanski, Anna B Savage, Douglas Dare, Laura Cahen, William Doyle, Stornoway, Young Knives and others. In 2016, in addition to his participation in the Throws project, Mike Lindsay teamed up with Laura Marling to form the duo LUMP, which recorded a self-titled debut album released in 2018 and Animal in 2021. He then collaborated with Philippe Cohen Solal, who made his name with Gotan Project, for the recording of the album Outsider (2021) and the EP Insider (2025). Meanwhile, Mike Lindsay worked on his first solo album, Supershapes Volume 1, released in 2024 on Moshi Moshi Records.
