Mighty Oaks are a folk band from Berlin, consisting of Ian Hooper, Claudio Donzelli and Craig Saunders, formed in 2010. Singer and songwriter Ian Hooper comes from Washington, D.C. and has been living in Germany since 2008, where he also met his band members. in 2010, the band released their first EP Mighty Oaks via Soundcloud. After the band recorded the EP Just One Day in 2012, concerts with Kings of Leon, Dry the River, Shout Out Louds and Chvrches followed, before the song of the same name from the EPJust One Day reached number 87 in the German singles charts. Her debut album Howl was released on February 28, 2014 and immediately reached the top 10 of the German album charts. her second album Dreamers followed in 2017 and reached the top 20. After All Things Go (2020) and a participation in the singing show Sing mein Song - das Tauschkonzert, the Mighty Oaks release their LP Mexico in 2021 (number 10 in Germany). In 2024, the Mighty Oaks release High Times, their fifth studio album.
