Biography
Mohammed Belahbib was born on July 19, 1998 in Berkane, north-east Morocco. Immersed in music from an early age, he began practicing at the age of 7, and in 2011 took part in the TV show Star Académie 8. After winning a prize in a competition (Music Carrefour), the Moroccan launched himself concretely into composition under the name Mido Belahbib in 2014. His first single "Habibi Majnoun" placed him young on the music market, before a first popular success in 2017. The release of "Raha Tsnapili" (2017) gathered millions of listeners and placed Mido Belahbib among the new names modernizing pop and raï in Morocco. The singer followed this up with "Khlatli Vu" (2017), then established himself in the music industry with a number of hits over the years, including "Feya9ni lmessage" (2017), "Chafouni m3aha" (2018) and "3lah 3lah" (2023), while his fans waited for a major future project to emerge.
