Michael Joseph "Mickey Joe" Harte, born on August 21, 1973, in Lifford, County Donegal, Ireland, is a singer-songwriter. Harte began playing guitar at 13 and wrote his first song, "Candlelight," inspired by Operation Desert Storm. In 2002, he won You're a Star, an RTÃ television show, earning the opportunity to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga with "We've Got the World." The song reached Number 1 on the Irish Singles Chart. Harte released his second studio album Live and Learn in 2006. He appeared on various television shows, including Celebrities Go Wild in 2007 and performed at Croke Park during the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final.
