Biography
Mexrrissey, a Mexican band inspired by Morrissey's music, was formed in 2015. The group was founded by Camilo Lara and Sergio Mendoza, along with Ceci Bastida, Chetes, Jay de la Cueva, Ricardo Nájera, and Alejandro Flores. Their debut album No Manchester was released in 2016, featuring translated versions of Morrissey's songs blended with Mexican musical elements. The album included notable tracks such as "El Primero del Gang" (The First of the Gang to Die) and "Cada DÃa es Domingo" (Everyday is like Sunday). Following their first concert in Mexico City, Mexrrissey embarked on a tour of the United Kingdom in 2015.
