Biography

Merauder, an American metalcore band from New York City, was formed in 1990. The group gained traction through frequent touring and demo releases. In 1995, vocalist Jorge Rosado joined, replacing Minus Rodriguez, and they released a split EP with Stigmata. Merauder's first full-length album, Master Killer, was released in 1995 under Century Media Records. They toured extensively with notable acts such as Biohazard and Fear Factory. In 2003, they released their third studio album, Bluetality. The band disbanded following this release but reunited in 2007 under Rosado's leadership. Their subsequent album, God Is I, was released in 2009 through Regain Records. Merauder continued to tour, with a show at Eindhoven's Metal Meeting in December 2009. In 2018, they returned to Europe for a full tour with UK metal/hardcore band Climate of Fear.
