Biography
Born Maye Osorio on December 1st, 1993 in Caracas, Venezuela, the Latin pop artist known as Maye first began penning songs aged 8, encouraged to write in Spanish by her Latin Grammy-winning father, Fernando Osorio. After taking her first steps towards the world of professional songwriting as part of the team behind Aitana's 2019 trap-pop song "Nada Sale Mal", as well as her debut album Spoiler, she released her debut solo single that same year. "My Love" paved the way for a deal with Warner Chappell Music, and her second single followed in 2020. "Tú" was a huge hit online, and was even picked up by Barack Obama who name-checked it as one of his favorite songs of summer 2020. A string of other singles have since followed in its wake, from 2020's "LA CANCIÃN" and 2021's "Yours" and "Versos de Placer" to 2022's "Descifrar" and "Maybe Baby".
