Maverick Mom, a Japanese rock band formed on Aprilâ¯2,â¯2022 in Ishikawa, consists of vocalist and guitarist Daishi Minamide, guitarist Takeru Nakano, bassist Taizo, and drummer ON. The group won the national highâschool amateur band championship on Augustâ¯9,â¯2022 and opened at the ROCKâ¯INâ¯JAPANâ¯FESTIVALâ¯2022 two days later. They released their debut miniâalbum ENERGY on Decemberâ¯23,â¯2022, followed by unknown on Novemberâ¯15,â¯2023. Their single "Aoku, Haru" debuted on Aprilâ¯2,â¯2025, and the fullâlength album COMPASS was issued on Aprilâ¯9,â¯2025; Travessia arrived on Mayâ¯13,â¯2026. Maverick Mom has performed as an opening act at venues such as the Matsumoto Cultural Hall and Makuhari Messe , drawing over 1,100 attendees at their first hallâonly concert in Marchâ¯2023. Major Debuit 1st full album, Travessia, was released on May 13, 2026.
