Biography
chef's is a four-piece band formed in October 2020, currently based in Tokyo. With the concept of serving âdelicious music,â the group brings a flavorful blend of sounds to the stage. The band is made up of vocalist/guitarist Ayana, guitarist Furugiya, bassist Shinji Takada, and drummer Ibushigin. In 2023, they released "comedy", which helped them chart for the first time. Follow-up tracks such as "Hitchcock" (2024) and "space junk" paired with "Cartoon Candy" (2024) continued to showcase their quirky, narrative-driven songwriting and creative arrangements. Their release, "Branews" (2025), has also charted, reinforcing their presence in the Japanese indie scene.
