Biography
Mashina, an Israeli rock band, was formed in 1983 by lead vocalist Yuval Banai and guitarist Shlomi Bracha. The duo met during their military service and began writing songs together. Their first album, Mashina, was released in 1985 with bassist Michael Benson, drummer Iggy Dayan, and later keyboardist Avner Hodorov. The band gained popularity and released several albums, including ×ש×× × (1987) and Mashina 3 / ×ש×× × 3 (1988). Mashina disbanded in 1995 following a tragic incident at the Arad Music Festival. They reunited in 2003 and continued to release albums such as ××××××× ×ש××× (2010) and Unplugged (2012).
