Biography

Martijn ten Velden, born circa 1972 in Haarlem, the Netherlands, is a Dutch DJ and producer known for his contributions to electronic music. Ten Velden began his career with early releases such as "Chaos From Order / Concrete Show" under the alias Kobalt 60 in 1991. His breakthrough came with the release of "I Wish You Would" in 2006, which became an anthem in Ibiza during the summers of 2006 and 2007. Ten Velden's track "Together" hit Number 1 on the UK Buzz Chart and number two on Musicweek Coolcuts in 2008. He has collaborated with artists such as Mark Knight, with whom he released several successful tracks, including "Incredible" by the Shapeshifters. Ten Velden has been signed to various labels, including Defected Records, Toolroom Trax, and Phonetic Recordings. He won the Award for Best International DJ at the Danish Dance Music Awards in 2007.
