Marlon Fernández, born on August 24, 1977, in La Lisa, Cuba, is a Cuban singer who formed his first band at the age of 14. In 2005, Marlon won the third season of Objetivo Fama, a Puerto Rican reality show broadcast by Univision Puerto Rico and Telefutura network in the United States. His debut album, Mi Sueño, was released on October 24, 2006, by Univision Records and peaked at number 7 on Billboard's Latin Tropical chart. The album included the single "Usted Abusó", a cover of Willie Colón & Celia Cruz's hit featuring La India. Marlon has been nominated for awards such as the Billboard Latin Music Award and Lo Nuestro Awards.
