Mario Grigorov is a Bulgarian composer and concert pianist born in 1963. He began classical studies in 1968 and later studied under Thomas Christian David in Vienna. In the early 1980s, Grigorov moved to Sydney, where he performed with rock groups and studied electronic music and jazz. In 1992, he relocated to the United States and signed with Warner Bros. Records. Grigorov released his debut album, Rhymes with Orange, in 1994. He composed scores for films directed by Lee Daniels, including Shadowboxer (2005), Tennessee (2008), and Precious (2009). His television work includes the film Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance (2018). He provided the music for the documentary Taxi to the Dark Side (2007), which won an Academy Award. Grigorov developed the Mirror Tones keyboard technique and won Best Music Feature at the 2013 Massachusetts Independent Film Festival.
