Biography

Florez, an American rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee, was formed in 2002. The group originally consisted of Alex Florez and Erik Huffman, who met during their university days at Furman University in South Carolina. The initial lineup also included guitarist Dana Brewster, multi-instrumentalist Dusty Emerick, and drummer Josh Robinson. On March 10, 2003, the band released Find Yourself. Florez gained significant exposure by sharing stages with artists such as Gavin DeGraw, Better than Ezra, and Will Hoge. In 2005, they released In Flight, followed by The Brooker Sessions in 2006. The band's song "Natalie" was featured on an episode of the TV series Scrubs in 2006.
