Manim Vaqueiro, born José Emanuel Gonçalves Pereira on February 16, 2004, in Ipubi, Pernambuco, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter who emerged from the sertão with a style rooted in vaquejada music, forró, and piseiro. Before music became his full-time path, Brazilian press reported that he worked as a construction assistant, and his early releases began appearing in 2022 with songs such as "Já Tem um Final" and "Status." He expanded that run in 2023 with projects including Sonhe e Realize, Pt.2, Ao Vivo em Serrita-PE, and SENTIMENTO, which featured tracks such as "Diz a Verdade," "Tarde Demais (Ao Vivo)," and "Forró e Desmantelo." His profile rose sharply in 2024 when "MTG Forró e Desmantelo" went viral and climbed the global viral charts, while his growing visibility also led to his association with Vybbe, the company linked to Xand Avião. In the same period he kept building his catalog through singles and collaborations, including "Reforma" with Thiago Freitas and the multi-artist track "Obrigado, Deus." In 2025 he moved into a bigger live phase with Resenha Do Manim (Ao Vivo), which included "Vaqueirão (Ao Vivo)," "Pensando Em Nós Dois (Ao Vivo)," and "Oitava Maravilha (Ao Vivo)," further establishing him in Brazilâs contemporary vaquejada and piseiro circuit. By 2026 he was continuing that rise with songs such as "Cachorrinha," extending a career that had quickly taken him from Pernambucoâs interior to a national audience.
