Mama's Broke is a Canadian folk music duo from Halifax, Nova Scotia, consisting of Amy Lou Keeler and Lisa Maria. Their sound notably blends bluegrass and Eastern European folk music influences, with Keeler and Maria performing vocals, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and guitar. Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut album Count the Wicked in 2017, which won them the Canadian Folk Music Award for Ensemble of the Year at the 13th Canadian Folk Music Awards. Their second album Narrow Line, released in 2022, received a CFMA nomination for Vocal Group of the Year at the 18th Canadian Folk Music Awards and a Juno Award nomination for Traditional Roots Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2023. The duo went on tour in 2024, including performances in Halifax and Nova Scotia.
