Biography

Making April was an American alternative rock band formed in Verplanck, New York, in 2005. The group consisted of vocalist and pianist Sean Scanlon, bassist Gregory Federspiel, and guitarist Steven McCaffrey. Their first release was the demo My First Demo! in 2005, followed by their debut EP, Runaway World, in April 2006. In 2008, they signed with Universal Republic and released a re-recorded version of "These Are the Nights". The band's debut full-length album, The Egg Hunt, was released in March 2009. Notable covers include "Hide & Seek", "Sweet Dreams" and "Use Somebody". Making April went on hiatus in September 2009 and disbanded in 2010. Their final release was the compilation album Lost Sessions in June 2010.
