Maggot Heart is a rock band formed in 2016 by guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Linnéa Olsson and based in Berlin, Germany. Their debut EP City Girls was released in May 2017 on Teratology Sound & Vision, featuring Uno Bruniusson on drums and Gottfrid Ã
hman on bass guitar. The band's first live show took place at Live Evil Berlin 2017. In October 2017, they released the digital single "Show Them Your Teeth" with a music video directed by Sarah Ben Hardouz. Their first full-length album, Dusk to Dusk, was released in 2018, with its cover artwork made by Kristian Valbo of the Norwegian band Obliteration. The band's extensive touring included performances at Roadburn Festival and a European tour with Voivod in September 2018. In 2023, Maggot Heart released Hunger and embarked on a US tour with the band Messa.
