Biography

Maerzfeld, a German metal and rock band, was formed in 2004. Initially known for their Rammstein tribute project Stahlzeit, Maerzfeld began releasing original music with the self-produced single "Exil" in March 2011. Their debut album Tief followed later that year, marking a significant milestone in their career. In early 2012, they signed with Südpolrecords and released an overhauled version of Tief. The band's subsequent albums include Fremdkörper (January 2014), Ungleich (October 2017), and Zorn (October 2019). Notable singles from these albums include "Hübschlerin" and "Es bricht". Maerzfeld has toured extensively, supporting acts such as Eisbrecher and Heldmaschine. In September 2020, the band released an acoustic EP titled Anblaggd EP (Acoustic). Their album Alles anders was released in February 2023.
