Biography
Lymbyc Systym, an American instrumental band from Tempe, Arizona, was formed in 2001 by brothers Jared and Michael Bell. The duo's sound blended elements of intrumental rock and electronic music. Their early releases included Live Kin (2003) and Carved By Glaciers (2006). Lymbyc Systym gained traction with their 2007 album Love Your Abuser, which was followed by extensive touring alongside acts such as Broken Social Scene, Crystal Castles, and This Will Destroy You. The band released several notable albums including Shutter Release (2009), Symbolyst (2012), and Split Stones (2015). Throughout their career, Lymbyc Systym collaborated with various labels such as Mush Records, Magic Bullet Records, and Western Vinyl. Michael Bell passed away on November 10, 2016.
