Biography

Lauran Amaly Hibberd, born on 8 July 1997 in the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom, is an English singer-songwriter who began playing guitar at age 14. Her breakthrough came with "Call Shotgun" in August 2018, which was playlisted on BBC Radio 1 and led to her performing at the Glastonbury Music Festival's BBC Introducing stage in 2019. Hibberd released her first EP, Favourite Shade of Blue, in 2017, followed by Everything is Dogs in 2019 and Goober in 2021. Her debut album, Garageband Superstar, was released in 2022. Hibberd has toured extensively, accompanying US bands Hippo Campus and The Regrettes on their European tours, as well as headlining her own national tours. Her second album, Girlfriend Material, was released in March 2024.
