Guadalupe "Lupita" Infante Esparza, known professionally as Lupita Infante, is an American singer-songwriter born in California. She completed her bachelor's degree in ethnomusicology at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2017. In 2017, Infante became a finalist on La voz México, with Carlos Vives as her vocal coach. She signed with Peermusic after releasing a cover of "Flor sin retoño" and performed at the Mariachi USA festival in June 2018. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Infante recorded music videos in her front yard, leading to the release of her debut album La Serenata in 2019. The album featured traditional mariachi and norteño songs such as "Sabor a MÃ" and "Dejaré", the latter of which was nominated for Best Regional Mexican Song at the 21st Annual Latin Grammy Awards. In 2020, Infante collaborated with Frankie J on the single "Buenos Amigos" for his album Canciones Que Recuerdo.
