Lucky Twice, a Swedish pop music duo consisting of Hannah Reynold and Emelie Schytz, was formed in 2006. The group initially featured Hannah Reynold and Sofie Larsson before Schytz replaced Larsson in 2007. Their breakthrough came with the release of their first single "Lucky" in Spain on July 20, 2006, which reached Number 1 in the singles chart and was certified double platinum. The song also achieved significant chart success in Denmark (number 5), France (number 8), Finland (number 17), Germany (number 41), Austria (number 42), and Sweden (number 43). Following this success, their debut album Young & Clever was released on September 9, 2007, accompanied by the single "Hop Non Stop" on July 23. Despite some video rotation and press interest, the release of the CD single in the United Kingdom was cancelled due to record label complications. In early 2010, Lucky Twice decided to split up after disagreements regarding their planned second album. The duo's final song "Love Song" was leaked online along with its music video, which Schytz later posted on her YouTube channel as a gift to the fans.
