Lucky Chops, a brass band from New York City, was founded in 2006 at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School by Raphael Buyo, Josh Holcomb, and Daro Behroozi. The group initially performed at school events and began busking in New York City subway stations. They gained international attention in 2016 with their viral rendition of âFunky Townâ featuring Leo Pellegrino. Lucky Chops has collaborated with numerous musicians, including Grace Kelly and Sunny Jain. The band has released several albums, including Lucky Chops, New Day, and 2018, and an EP, Bagels & Bongos.
