Biography
Founding member of Italian symphonic metal band Rhapsody of Fire in 1993, guitarist Luca Turilli has also enjoyed an intense solo career. He made his debut in 1999 with the cosmic King of the Nordic Twilight, followed by Prophet of the Last Eclipse (2002) and The Infinite Wonders of Creation (2006). Torn, like many six-string prodigies, between the satisfaction of his ego and the security provided by a band, Luca Turilli returned in 2006 under the banner Luca Turilli's Dreamquest for Lost Horizons. After his amicable departure from Rhapsody of Fire, now Rhapsody, Luca Turilli embarks on a new project, which he christens Luca Turilli's Rhapsody. Ascending to Infinity, the first album of this Rhapsody bis, was released in June 2012. Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus is the second album of this new project, released in June 2015.
