Biography

Lost Cherrees are an English anarcho-punk band from London formed in 1979. The ensemble was founded by drummer Steve Battershill, Dave Greaves, and Siân Jeffreys. They achieved professional recognition for the track “No Fighting, No War, No Trouble, No More” (1983), which reached number 27 on the UK independent charts. Their recording career includes the debut studio recording All Part of Growing Up (1985), which reached number 9 on the UK independent album charts. The ensemble became inactive in 1986 but resumed activity in 2003. Their discography includes the studio recordings Free to Speak... But Not to Question (2006) and Blank Pages (2019). The lineup has included members such as Andy Rolfe, Warren Samuels, Gail Thibert, Beverly Cook-Abbott, and Debbie McKenna.
