Biography

Los Punsetes is a Spanish indie pop band formed in Madrid in 2004, consisting of Ariadna Paniagua (vocals), Jorge García (guitar), Chema González (drums), Manuel Sánchez (known as Anntona) (guitar), and Luis Fernández (bass). The group's name was inspired by the late Spanish politician, television presenter, science communicator, and writer Eduard Punset. Los Punsetes began their career with a self-released demo featuring songs like "El secreto de tus coletas" and "Trabajar cansa". Their debut album, Los Punsetes, was released in 2008 under their own label Gramaciones Grabofónicas, with a creative commons license allowing free downloads. The band's second album, LP2, followed in 2010, produced by David Rodríguez and featuring the single "Tus amigos". In 2017, they released ¡Viva!, produced by El Guincho, which included the track "Mabuse" as its lead single. They released their seventh studio album, AFDTRQHOT, in 2022.
