Biography

Diego and Miguel de los Reyes, known collectively as Los Hermanos Reyes, were born in Castilleja de la Cuesta, Sevilla, Spain. The sibling duo began their musical journey specializing in cante por sevillanas, with their first recordings appearing in 1958 under the guidance of Manuel Pareja-ObregÃ³n. Their early work introduced innovative elements to traditional sevillanas. In the early 1980s, the duo separated artistically; Miguel retired from the music industry, while Diego continued to perform solo for a few years until his death.
