Biography
Los Fatales, a Uruguayan tropical music band founded in 1996 and led by Fabián "Fata" Delgado, emerged from Montevideo. The group blended traditional rhythms such as candombe, plena uruguaya, and Latin music. Their albums include Revolución Fatal (1999), La Abuelita (2001), and 2da. Revolución (2002). Los Fatales toured extensively in South America, the United States, and Australia, performing at venues such as Sala Zitarrosa and Teatro SolÃs. The band was awarded the Premios Graffiti for Best Tropical Music Album in 2010, 2011, and 2017. They also received multiple certifications including Gold, Platinum, and Double Platinum discs.
