Living Syndication, a rock band from Massachusetts, was formed in 2001 by frontman Pervez Taufiq. Initially a solo project, the band evolved after releasing demo tracks on Napster. Their breakthrough came when "Restrain" was played on New York radio station KROCK, leading to interest from Flawless Records and the release of their EP Om Factor in 2004. Living Syndication gained further recognition by winning a contest hosted by AT&T and Atlantic Records in 2003. This victory led to tours with notable acts such as Kill Hannah, Sevendust, Shinedown, Crossfade, Lacuna Coil, and Drowning Pool. Their debut LP Aneurythm was released on September 27, 2007.
