Linnea Dale, born April 22, 1991, in Tinn, Telemark, Norway, is a Norwegian singer. She gained early recognition as a contestant on the fifth season of Norwegian Idol in 2007. Linnea Dale's breakthrough came with her collaboration with Donkeyboy on their debut album Caught in a Life, providing guest vocals on "Ambitions", which reached Number 1 on the Norwegian singles chart in June 2009. Linnea Dale released her first EP, Children of the Sun in January 2012. Her debut solo album, Lemoyne Street, followed in April of the same year. In 2014, she competed in Melodi Grand Prix with "High Hopes", finishing second. Linnea Dale has also collaborated with notable artists such as Paul Waaktaar from a-ha and the Norwegian pop band Minor Majority.
