Biography
LIMO, real name Lassimo Mansaré, is a Franco-Guinean artist whose musical style fuses Afrobeats, R&B and dancehall. Born in Guinea, he moved to France in 2014-2015 and began to make a name for himself by posting covers on Instagram, before releasing his first Covergram mixtape under the Jaiye Music label. In 2021, he unveils the Genesis EP, featuring tracks like "Meuf carrée" with Scridge and "Rien à prouver" featuring Sensey. 2022 marks a turning point with the success of the DSK On The Beat-produced singles"Plus jamais" and "Tombé pour elle". In 2024, he released his debut album Diamant Brut, which included notable collaborations with Samy Lrzo, Locko, Hiro, Junior Bvndo and Gaz Mawete. The track "Joggo" was a big hit in December, topping the charts as one of the artist's best performances. In February 2025, LIMO continues to build on his success with "Andale", a promising single that confirms his rise on the Afro-urban scene.
