Lilyjets was a Norwegian rock group formed in Oslo by Lisbeth Marie Mjaugo, Kine Lee Aksnes and Tinki Tønseth Troye, all born in the early 1980s. The trio began writing and performing together in school, with Tinki Tønseth Troye joining in 2001, and they selfâcomposed the majority of their early material. Their breakthrough came with the single "Going Blind" in 2005, which reached Number 1 on the Norwegian charts and entered the Danish and German charts, establishing them as a Scandinavian popârock phenomenon. In 2006 the group released the miniâalbum Perfect Picture (It Would Be Better) and the fullâlength album 3rd Floor, both featuring songs they had written from their teenage years. The single "Crave" achieved regional success, while "Don't Let It Go To Your Head" charted in Norway. That year they toured with the German radio station Jump in Central Germany and received the NRJ Award for Best Nordic Hit in Helsinki. Their discography also includes the 2008 single "Song For You". Throughout their active years, Lilyjets maintained a consistent presence in Scandinavian rock, with chartâtopping releases and international touring, before eventually disbanding without a formal announcement.
