Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lily Kershaw has a long association with the series Criminal Minds. She appeared as an actress in an episode of season four, broadcast in 2009, before seeing her song "As It Seems" featured in the credits of season seven in 2012. Released in May 2012, "As It Seems" reached No. 38 in the French singles chart in December. This gentle rise culminated in a debut album, Midnight in the Garden, in 2013. The next step came in 2016, with the release of a single that put her voice at the center of an orchestration of finished elegance, "For Keeps", setting the scene for a new opus.
