Formed by lead vocalist Samuel Fry, the group also included Edward Ibbotson on guitar, Dominic Sennett on bass, and Micky Osment on drums. The quartet's early steps involved releasing their debut EP Needles and Pins in August 2012. The band released their debut album Here It Comes in 2015, produced by Stephen Street. Notable singles included "Cold Wire" and "Get Closer". Life In Film signed with +1 Records (USA) and Embassy Of Music (Europe) in late 2014. On March 10, 2017, the band announced their break-up via a Facebook post.
