Biography

Appearing on the Italian music scene in 2017, Naples-born Italian producer and singer Liberato preserves his identity and face, always appearing from behind or masked by a hood. The release of his homonymous debut album in spring 2019 provoked a veritable phenomenon, with views of his videos and listens on platforms numbering in the millions. Four tracks from this debut album are charted in Italy. In 2020, he signs the soundtrack to Francesco Lettieri's film Ultras. For this project, he collaborates with Massive Attack's 3D on a long-awaited new album, released in March, with two new chart-topping tracks. Liberato's varied musical approach ranges from alternative R&B to house, reggaeton, drum'n'bass and Neapolitan chanson. In the same vein, Liberato III was released in 2024, reaching no. 23 in Italy. After the track "O DJ (Don't Give Up)" for Sidney Sibilia's film Mixed by Erry, the composer wrote "Lucia (Stay with Me)" for the documentary Il segreto di Liberato, mixing concert excerpts and animated scenes.
