Levi Dexter, born on January 28, 1957, in London, is a British singer known for his contributions to rock 'n' roll and rockabilly music. He began his career with the band The Rockats in 1977. In 1978, Levi Dexter moved to Los Angeles, performing at notable venues such as Whiskey-a-Go-Go and appearing on television shows like The Merv Griffin Show and Midnight Special. Throughout the 1980s, his band underwent several name changes, including Levi Dexter & The Rip-Chords. He collaborated with producer Richard Gottehrer and released multiple albums under various labels such as Mistral Records and Fresh Records. Levi Dexter continues to perform in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
