Made up of Danilo da Soucza, Thermomètre and Soumagris, Les Rythmeurs ABC are making a name for themselves in Cameroon from 2019 with the single "Nous sommes déjà là " produced by DJ Bogard. Their music blends rap with mbolé rhythm. The latter was originally created for funeral wakes, played mainly on djembes. Reappropriated by young people in working-class neighborhoods in the 2010s, and aided by the arrival of computer production software, mbolé is becoming an increasingly recognized rhythm in the country. With representatives such as Petit Malo, Les Rythmeurs ABC are part of this new musical scene. Their track "Mbandjoh", unveiled in 2022, paid tribute to Cameroonian culture, and a few months later became the anthem of the national soccer team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Rapidly gaining in popularity, the trio followed up with new singles, including "Le village" (2022) and "Kior décor" (2023).
