Les Petits Chanteurs dâAix-en-Provence et du Pays dâAix (The Little Singers of Aix-en-Provence and the Aix region) is a French childrenâs choir founded in 1961 by music enthusiast Gérard Mouton. Dedicated to polyphonic singing, the choir represented Aix-en-Provence at the 1966â1967 International Congress of Pueri Cantores and performed internationally, including in Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Canada, and Martinique. They have released recordings such as Pastorale et Noëls de Provence, Chansons de Provence et de Marseille (2002), and Chants sacrés, chants profanes (2004), and have collaborated with artists including Chantal Goya, Charles Aznavour, and Mireille Mathieu. The choir has also participated in television programs, humanitarian projects, and major events, including a private audience with Pope John Paul II in 1986.
