Biography
Leon Vynehall, born in Pembury, is a British DJ and producer. He began his career as a resident DJ at Akaakaroar club in Brighton, releasing several EPs on labels such as Well Rounded Housing Project and Aus. His debut EP Music for the Uninvited was released on 3024 in 2014 to positive critical reception. On 1 Aprilâ¯2016, he released his second EP Rojus on Running Back. Vynehall signed with UK independent label Ninja Tune in Aprilâ¯2018, coinciding with the announcement of his debut full-length album Nothing Is Still, inspired by his grandparentsâ emigration from the south-east of the United Kingdom to New York City. His second studio album Rare, Forever was released on 30 Aprilâ¯2021 via Ninja Tune and received critical acclaim.
