Leonard James LaCour, Sr., also known as Lenny LaCour, born on April 27, 1932, in Bayou Brevelle, Louisiana, is an American record producer, songwriter, and performer. He began his career as a performer and songwriter in Chicago during the early 1950s. In 1956, he won a jingle contest for Orange Crush, which led to a recording contract with Academy Records under his given name. His biggest hit was "Rock 'n' Roll Romance", described by LaCour as "the only million seller not to be on the Billboard charts." He established his own publishing company in 1958 and started Lucky Four Records in 1959, producing notable groups like the Swinging Hearts and The Uniques. In 1964, he moved to Milwaukee and founded Magic Touch Records and Dynamic Sound Records, achieving success with local acts such as Harvey Scales. His career overview album Walkin' the Bullfrog was released in 2008.
