Lenka Dusilová is a Czech singer-songwriter born on December 28, 1975, in Karlovy Vary. She began her career in 1988 with the children's choir Bambini di Praga and later led the rock band SlunÃÄko, which won the Marlboro Rock '94 competition. Dusilová released her debut solo album, Lenka Dusilová, in 2000 and won the AndÄl Award for Female Singer of the Year. She provided guest vocals for the Äechomor album PromÄny, which received the Album of the Year award in 2001. Following the releases of SpatÅit svÄtlo svÄta in 2002 and UnEarthEd in 2004, her 2005 album Mezi svÄty achieved gold status and won the AndÄl Award for Best Rock Album. In 2008, she launched the project Eternal Seekers with Beata Hlavenková and Clarinet Factory. Dusilová released the album Baromantika in 2011 and subsequently formed a group of the same name. In 2020, she released Åeka, which won AndÄl Awards for Album of the Year and Song of the Year for âVláknaâ.
