Biography

Legacy Five, a Southern Gospel quartet, was founded in 1999 by former Cathedral Quartet members Roger Bennett and Scott Fowler. The group's initial lineup included tenor Josh Cobb, lead singer Scott Fowler, baritone Scott Howard, bass Glenn Dustin, and pianist Roger Bennett. Legacy Five achieved significant success with their debut album Strong in the Strength, which featured the Top 10 hit "I Stand Redeemed". They have performed extensively, including appearances at the National Quartet Convention and collaborations with Gaither Homecoming Friends. Notable achievements include Roger Bennett's posthumous Favorite Musician Award and the group's win for Album of the Year with Live In Music City (2006) at the 2007 Fan Awards. Their album Pure Love (2019) won Southern Gospel Album of the Year at the 2020 Dove Awards. Legacy Five released a special album, Celebrating 25 Years, in 2024.
