Biography
Leaving Rouge was an indie rock band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 2002. The group featured vocalist Sean Hoen and a rotating lineup of musicians. Shortly after their formation, Leaving Rouge released Collected Songs (2003), which included contributions from nearly twenty musicians. Prior to this project, Hoen had fronted Thoughts of Ionesco, a Detroit-based noise-core band. In 2004, the band signed with Greyday Productions and released the EP, White Houses, which received praise from various magazines. The band's second full-length album, Elsewhere, was released in 2006 and featured the track "Sleep Now Forever". Leaving Rouge opened for several notable acts but never performed outside of Michigan.
