Biography
LC9 was a South Korean boy band formed by Nega Network in 2013. The group debuted on 9â¯Mayâ¯2013 with the miniâalbum Skirmish, featuring the title track âMaMa Beatâ (featuring Gaâin), which they performed on Mnet M! Countdown. Subsequent releases included the single âEast of Edenâ in August 2014, with instrumental tracks included as part of the Skirmish EP. LC9âs discography remained confined to the 2013 EP and the 2014 single, with no chartâtopping positions reported. In late 2015, the groupâs contracts expired on 21â¯Decemberâ¯2015, and on 23â¯Januaryâ¯2016 Nega Network announced the disbandment of LC9, concluding the groupâs brief threeâyear activity. The bandâs legacy is limited to its initial debut releases and the short presence it maintained in the Korean idol scene.
