Biography

LAZY KNACK is a vocal unit consisting of Satoshi Shimizu (born December 17, 1979 in Osaka Prefecture) and Yuna Kagetsu (born June 4, 1979 in Saga Prefecture), who made their impressive debut in November 1995 with the single "CRYSTAL GAME," produced by Daisuke Asakura. On July 24, 1996, they released their 4th single "MOON". With Ishii Jishi on the production team, this single showed a rock-oriented approach that completely changed the image of the band up to that point. The song reached the Oricon chart's highest position of #29, proving the musical range of the unit. The group continued to work with a diverse group of writers, including Joe Illinois, and released a total of eight singles and three albums. On December 24, 1997, the group sadly came to an end. After the breakup, Kagetsu continued her musical activities as YUNAH, while Shimizu left the stage after a brief solo career.
