Biography

Born in San Pedro, Argentina, Lautaro Monzón first cultivated his musical passion through piano playing in local bands before debuting his solo cumbia career in 2021 with emotional originals that drew attention across regional dance halls. In 2022, he released the vibrant single “Tres Noches / Tu Cárcel / Salimos De Noche”, showcasing his knack for blending heartfelt lyrics with uptempo rhythms. He built on that momentum in 2023 with “Me Tienes Que Olvidar / Lo Que Me Hiciste a Mí / Yo Soy Tu Maestro”, a triple A-side that consolidated his songwriting identity. His 2024 releases—including “Como Estás / Tan Solo Quiero Amarte”, “Oh! Jesús / Esa Te Dejó”, and “Éxitos de La Piedra Urbana”—expanded his profile via playlists and uploads, while topping tens of thousands of streams. He closed 2024 and rang in 2025 with the heartfelt solo single “Me Dediqué a Perderte”, and continued to spark engagement through live videos such as club favorite “Sobrio”.
