Laurence Rosenthal, born November 4, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan, was an American composer known for his film scores. His career began in the mid-1950s with works like Yellowneck (1955) and Naked in the Sun (1957). Rosenthal's notable compositions include The Return of a Man Called Horse (1976), The Island of Dr. Moreau (1977), and Clash of the Titans (1981). He also composed music for eleven episodes of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones. His music for Hotel Paradiso (1966) and Rashomon (1959) were released as albums. Rosenthal's work spanned over four decades, significantly impacting the film and television industry.
