Biography

Larry Graham is credited with inventing the famous bass "slap", a technique that has influenced some of today's greatest bassists. A member of Sly and The Family Stone, then founder of Graham Central Station, Larry Graham is one of the great figures of soul funk in the sixties and seventies. In 1979, Larry Graham embarked on an unconvincing solo career, punctuated by the single hit "One in a Million You " in 1980. Since the early 2000s, Larry Graham has been collaborating with Prince, producing the album GCS2000 together under the name Graham Central Station.
