Biography
Kim Haon, known professionally as Haon, was born on Julyâ¯7â¯2000, in Seoul, Southâ¯Korea, and emerged as a Korean rapper. He first gained national attention on School Rapperâ¯2, reaching the semiâfinal on Aprilâ¯7â¯2018 and the final on Aprilâ¯14â¯2018, where he released the single "Graduation" that entered the topâ¯30 of the Korean Digital Chart. In 2018 he released "Youth!" and debuted his first EP TRAVEL:â¯NOAH in September, blending melodic rap and pop. Haon continued with the soundtrack single "FLOWER" in Januaryâ¯2019 and the EP Hipâ¯Hopâ¯Kingâ¯Pt.â¯4 on Augustâ¯23â¯2019. The midâ2020s saw a productive period with releases such as "Gold Chain" (Aprilâ¯18â¯2025), "Angel" (Julyâ¯14â¯2025), and "Woman" (Novemberâ¯4â¯2025), as well as collaborative projects "BOYCOLDâ¯3" (Novemberâ¯19â¯2025) and "KC2.5" (Augustâ¯8â¯2025). In lateâ¯2025 he issued "STUDYâ¯GROUP,â¯Pt.â¯3" and the EP KC3 (Novemberâ¯27â¯2025). His releases in 2026 included "Skrr" (Novemberâ¯20â¯2024), the album 2000â¯TAPE (Julyâ¯20â¯2026), and the single "Yarrr" (Mayâ¯12â¯2026). He has won several awards such as Hip Hop Track of the Year and Music Video of the Year at the Korea Hip Hop Awards (2025), New Artist of the Year at the Korea Hip Hop Awards (2019). On top of these awards, the rapper won 1st place on SHOW ME THE MONEY 12 (2026), 2nd Place on RAP:PUBLIC (2024) and 1st place on High School Rapper 2 (2018). The album 2000 TAPE entered Bugs' Top 100 albums chart at rank 70 the week it was released.
